The Story Of How I At Long Last Hit The Weight Level I Wanted To

By Tara Iselin

There's nothing worse than staying overweight despite all the weight-loss programs I got myself into. It's been years now since I first noticed the unwanted pounds and recently I began writing about it through my very own blog about losing weight. The idea came from something I've read, telling that I could benefit from creating a weight-loss journal.

Because I couldn't think of anything else to that will convince me to shed off my unwanted pounds, I realized that there's nothing wrong if I give it a try. Besides the possibility that I'll miss my favorite TV shows because I'll be busy blogging, what do I have to lose?

Here's what's exciting about it: keeping a blog about your efforts to lose weight through diet and workout will benefit your cause. How? That's simple. The mere fact that you are tracking down the progress of your current weight loss program through a blog is already doing you good. In fact, I myself write about my food intake in each of the blogs I have with all truthfulness.

Strange as it may sound, keeping a blog that discusses your weight loss gives a feeling that one is accountable for his actions. Knowing that the people around you have expectations, for sure you don't want to disappoint them. Gradually, your blog has started to play a big role in helping you lose weight and at the same time, it serves as a documentation of your efforts.

Suddenly, my weight-related practices are beginning to improve. Despite the two-month wait, I felt satisfied as my waistline was reduced.

I give the credit to my blog for such achievement. Furthermore, I feel happy that there are people who actually read my thoughts - they are even there to back me up on my goal to lose weight.

But it doesn't end there. Tell you what, a month after I started, I got paid for writing blog entries about my weight loss. Simply put, earning money while blogging is not a bad idea at all.

So not only did I lose weight with a blog, but I was making another $20 per month from talking about how to lose weight and writing reviews on different foods and diets I was trying to help me lose weight fast.
