How A Corner Toilet Can Make A Bathroom Seem Larger

By Faye Collins

Working on a house renovation is so simple until you reach the bathroom. When you move the toilet bowl, you will have to consider the piping, masonry and carpentry, not to mention the limited space that all these amenities have to squeeze in. A lot of work is required to setting up this intricate room. Some people just wonder if all effort and time put into such a tiny room is reasonable.

Maybe it is time that you check out a corner toilet for your bathroom. They are so simple, but elegant in saving space by utilizing unused space of the corner of the bathroom. This is so important because in most cases, bathroom spaces could no longer be expanded.

As the adjective hints, the toilet tank is shaped in a triangle to fit in the usual corner with a ninety degrees angle. This corner has a limited space for any practical use. Thus, the corner is just left unused.

By setting up the toilet bowl on the corner, you are free to use more space that the standard toilet bowl used to cover. You have actually added more space just by changing the toilet bowl unit from the standard to a corner one and setting the toilet bowl on the corner.

Because of their unique shape, corner toilets are also stylish and eye catching. They add another dimension of interest to what otherwise would have been a boring bathroom.

While wall hung toilets are another option to saving bathroom space, they are more costly to install since the wall behind the toilet has to be removed and replaced. A corner toilet, on the other hand, is pretty much affordable to install. It only costs as much as installing a regular toilet.

Like most current toilets, a corner toilet is equipped with a dual flush technology. This allows two ways of flushing, each having their own purpose. One is for flushing liquid waste while the other is for solid waste.

The best thing about a corner toilet is that it is eco-friendly. It uses minimal water to flush thus allowing you to not only save money, but also save thousands of gallons of precious water per year.
