The Specific Eat Stop Eat Approach

By Kim Schuhmann

There is a lot going on about balancing diets, where you balance days where you fast and where you eat like normal. Most of the time they don't work, but that's not true when you're working with an actual nutritionist. Brad Pilon is a nutritionist, and offers you a different take with his one such diet.

This is a diet of targeted fasting that ensures you don't have to stop eating your favorite foods just to lose weight. Instead, you can target the days when you will, and when you won't.

That's because on some days you fast, but on other days you get all the calories you normally would, and then some. That way, you're keeping your metabolism consistent.

The problem with most diets is that they have you killing your metabolism for a quick loss in the beginning. But they don't deal with that drop later on, which leads you hitting a plateau, and then gaining weight later on.

When you're on this type of diet, the first thing that you're going to find is that you experience a lot of weight loss in a short time. That's why it's poised for those that want to lose a lot of weight in the beginning, or for a major event.

While it sounds like a crazy dream that you cannot achieve, it's actually why Brad Pilon himself got into such good shape. By balancing your days, you can easily lose tens of pounds, and still keep your metabolism high.

By flip flopping, and going from fasting to eating the foods you love, you can ensure that you're still losing weight through a net drop in your calories per week.

But your metabolism will still stay fairly high, and it will be easy for you to stick to the diet knowing that you can eat the food you're craving, and the food that you want shortly, if you tough out your fasting days.
