This has been a very interesting year with the NBA Western Conference playoffs. We have seen sweeps and series brought to seven games, and unlike the Eastern Conference, these series have actually been entertaining! Here is a quick look at what's gone done out West.

In round 1, the 2009 champions, the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Oklahoma City Thunder. While the Lakers were on a mission to return to the finals, the Oklahoma City Thunder were a young team looking to make a statement.

In the end, Kobe Bryant refused to let his squad lose this one.

In another first round matchup the Denver Nuggets squared off against the Utah Jazz. The Nuggets were without Coach Karl, which may or may not be the reason they couldn't pull it together. In the end, the Jazz beat the Nuggets in six games.

The Phoenix suns were pitted against the pesky Portland Trailblazers in the first round. The Trailblazers are good, but the Suns played like winners behind their captain Steve Nash and ended up taking the series in six games.

The veteran San Antonio Spurs, in a major upset, usurped the #2 seed Dallas Mavericks. Mark Cuban will have nightmares for the entire offseason.

In the Western Conference semifinals, the San Antonio Spurs were pitted against the Phoenix Suns. Up until this year, the Spurs had won the last five playoff series against the Suns, however this time was different. The Suns played to make a statement and swept the Spurs in the feel-good story of the playoffs.

The Utah Jazz played the Los Angeles Lakers and had a similar fate to the Spurs. The Lakers came out with a vengeance and beat the Jazz in a quick four games. In a great series matchup, the Lakers are now playing the Phoenix Suns in an exciting, fast-paced matchup.

Even if you just save a few minutes per program, it adds up quickly and you will be amaze at how much time you saved.

The second greatest time waster is when I have to sit and wait somewhere. Being stuck at the DMV is not fun for anyone, and waiting at the doctor's office can be very boring. I learned that by bringing my homework with me, or doing work on my laptop made the time go faster, and I had extra time later to do what I want.

I also learned that by getting news and information online and downloading the podcasts and listening to them in the car also saved me time. The car radio is a huge time killer, and waiting through commercials to hear news can be better used.

Having the radio on is distracting and annoying sometimes, but it is not as dangerous as using a cell phone while driving. Keep your hands on the wheel and the phone off. Spend that time doing something safer and more productive.

This is just a couple of general examples to prick your brain into thinking of ways to save time in your own life. Think of how your days are structured and notice how much empty time you have, and then fill those spaces with things that will save and improve the quality of time you have.

Treatment can be done in several ways but the most common is by the use of a hydroquinone cream. If the cream is prescribed it usually has greater than a two percent concentration of HQ; it can be purchased over the counter but the concentration of HQ will be two percent or less. Sunscreen can also be used in treating the condition along with avoiding prolonged sun exposure. There are times when the skin condition will clear up without treatment.

There are treatments such as chemical peels, laser therapy and microdermabrasion; however these methods are not as effective as the creams. It is possible the condition will clear without any creams or procedures but in most cases something has to be used. There is no need to worry because there is a Melasma treatment available to aid in clearing up this skin condition.
