I understand what it's like to handle terrible acne breakouts. As a kid, there were plenty of times that I sidestepped the mirror and social engagements due to my skin. Other kids made fun of me and called me terrible names. And each time I went anywhere I was certain that everybody was observing my acne. It affected every area of my entire life and the memories of it still haunt me.
Once I got to college, I clearly assumed that the more mature university students would be much easier to handle. Surely, they wouldn't participate in such childish pursuits as name calling or busting down their classmates for fun. This became to some degree true as most of the outright name-calling disappeared but this became substituted with something else. I seemed to become invisible and was totally ignored even as soon as i tried to be extroverted and initiate contact. I am certain that a good thing about this revolved around the reality I had no self-assurance and still based my identity on my acne breakouts difficulties.
Just when i had reconciled myself to a life of isolation, I met somebody outstanding. It was one of those particular days where I pressured myself to try and break free from my shell but this time around after i said hello, she looked me straight in the eyes and replied. We became good friends and ultimately much more but I am getting ahead of myself. I grew to become very at ease with her and most of the time forgot I even had a awful acne breakouts predicament. So, you can imagine how depressed I was when one day she started talking about my break-outs. I recall thinking "Oh God, here it comes, she's going to cut me loose" but that wasn't what happened.
"Your acne looks like it hurts to your soul", she said staring at me with those gorgeous green eyes. She began describing how her acne difficulties made her feel and how challenging it was for her. "But you don't have acne", I replied stunned that this gorgeous girl with perfect skin was worrying about acne breakouts. "It wasn't always like this, mine was once almost as bad as yours." Her point in bringing this up wasn't to dump me but to let me know she understood and didn't care.
After she finished helping me realize she wasn't judging me, she asked me what cystic acne solutions I had tried. I gave her the full list and she asked why I hadn't tested out Neutrogena Skin ID. I had never heard of it but she said it really worked for her and she proposed I give it a go. She surprised me when she opened up her purse and started off cleaning my face with a little touch-up wipes she got from skinID and began carefully applying Neutrogena skinID spot treatment. "Let's see what this does for you, maybe it will be right for you too." She had just gotten her most recent skinID package and gave me what was left over in her last one recommending I try it for a little bit.
Well, in the interest of trying to shorten this story, it genuinely seemed to work. In really a few days, my skin already looked better. I chose to eat ramen noodles for a while so I could afford to get my own set and I'm happy I did. My final results with Neutrogena Skin ID were nothing short of amazing. It took about 9 weeks to fully clear up my skin but people began noticing after just a couple of weeks. My self esteem returned and I stopped identifying myself by my cystic acne. It is truly incredible to me how such a little thing like clear skin transformed my life.
Needless to say everybody always asks me what happened to the girl -- and I'm happy to say that we're still together, so the tale has a happy ending in more ways than one. If you can relate to it, and you've experimented with everything to clear up your bad acne, why not give Neutrogena skinID a try? After all, I'm sure you've tried using numerous other systems, so it's not going to hurt to try one more. And perhaps you can add your narrative to the great Skin ID Reviews pile too.
