By Mitch Hancock

When fixing a salad one will need the following items; a slice of red onion, eggs bacon cucumber, croutons and or flavorful crunch. With these you are sure to have a tasty salad.

In most cases, salad is fixed with same items which may be monotonous especially when one gets used to it. This can be changed to make your salad more enjoyable at all times. The following points will be of help.

If you are making your salad in the house, you may add more items to your liking as are available. Some of recommendations include the following; pickle juice, ketchup, mayo, salsa or guacamole. Should you be creative enough, you may apply other day to day ingredients and you will have a perfect salad.

Sprinkling such ingredients like toasted walnuts, peanuts, and even spiced pecans all over your salad will give it a crunchy "feel "which will interest all who will have the privilege to have a bite.

Adding a fruit to your salad is known to be a great idea in that it makes your salad more appealing compared to the plain salads. You can include some fruits such as raisins, bits of pears, diced apple, thin slices of kiwi, and dried cranberries or cherries.

Cheese can change the outlook of your otherwise green salad. Just melt soft cheese and pour it on top of the salad .Another way is to slice mozzarella for a low-fat addition and place them on top of your salad.

Grilling your vegetables especially tomatoes can add more value to your salad. Changing the texture of your salad can go a great while in increasing the desire to have a bite. Grill your veggies for just a few seconds or a maximum of a minute.

Don't just place the salads on the place as just another type of food. Be artistic in the way you present your salad and people will love to have a share.
