How To Be Unforgettable On A First Date

By Robert Walters

It is important to leave a wonderful impression during your first date. There are only two outcomes to a first, it can either turn out for the worse or you are given another chance - a second date. Let us hope that you end up having another shot. Here's how you can do it.

Do not let your outfit dictate the way you are. If you feel like you need to dress up just to impress your date then there will be a chance that she will notice that it is all for show. Make sure that your outfit matches what's inside there.

Take the time to relax before the big night. Let it all sink in that everything is going to go according to plan and if something goes wrong then you will have to deal with it. Give yourself a moment to breathe before you head out to get your date. If you do not do this, you will be so uptight the entire time.

Practice proper hygiene before going on this date. Learn to take a bath before going out on a date and take good care of your body. How would you feel if the girl you're dating with smells bad? It would surely turn you off and they will not want to hang with you.

Always be punctual and never even think of being too late for your big meeting. It is very rude to have your date wait for you even for a couple of minutes. It is much better to come early that to arrive late. It may seem that you do not have any respect for your date and that could potentially harm your chances.

Engage in a friendly conversation with your new friend. Relax before you decide on the topics. Breathe. No one is going to bite you if you ask the wrong question. If you are afraid of making the first move, observe and tell her what you see like her dress and start from there.

Organize your belongings all in one place. Keep your credit card or cash near you at all times in case you need it. Put your phone in silent mode or vibration alarm if someone calls you. No one wants you to answer calls.

And lastly, never expect too much. Take out all your expectations and throw them out the window before you begin. It is much better that you enjoy the moment rather than set yourself up and you end up disappointed.
