Either way, once you are diagnosed with hypertension, it is best that you consider taking blood pressure medication to regulate your BP levels.

Most doctors prescribe diuretics, vasodilators, and even alpha-blockers and the like as part of your high blood pressure medication. Dependent on the severity of your sickness there have been occasions when these medications have been combined to work better.

You might want to remember to refill your medicine kit with your prescription drugs and place them in your bag, your bathroom medicine cabinet or even your bedroom drawer so you won't be able to forget drinking them at all.

By doing these steps you can increase the odds of getting in to the habit of taking your medications daily even if you keep forgetting to now and then. Once a system has been established, you are sure to get to take your medicine at the right time daily to help regulate your blood pressure levels easily enough.

Whatever blood pressure medication you are taking, it is best that you remind yourself to take them on a daily basis. This will help keep your blood pressure from rising and at the same time reduce your risk of suffering from any symptoms that can prevent you from functioning normally.
