Female yeast infection is the commonest condition caused by yeast. This is because yeast not only lives in the guts of women also in the vagina. Men mostly suffer from tum related yeast infections. When yeast grows too rapidly, they cause an infection called candidiasis which is a vaginal yeast infection. The scientific name for yeast is candida albicans. Some of the major reasons behind yeast infection are pregnancy, contraception pills, menopause and monthly periods. These contributors will cause hormonal imbalances that will see an unstable environment created in the vagina giving rise to an infection.

There are plenty of female yeast infection symptoms, but you should recognize the commonest ones. However, is good to know the other ones also. The main areas where women get yeast infection are the vagina, on the skin and in the mouth.

Female vaginal yeast infections

This is known as and Candida Albicans and is the commonest type of yeast fungus infection in women. Thanks to the nature of vagina ( wet and moist ), it is very easy to catch a yeast infection for ladies at the tiniest change in the Ph in the vagina. The main signs of vaginal yeast infection are itchiness, burning, often soreness and without or with discharge. If this exist, than it more seem like cottage cheese. There are many fast natural remedies that cure Candida Albicans like yogurt, garlic, honey or tea tree oil.

Yeast infections on the skin

This is found principally on the skin folds, especially on the groin. Besides the irritation, you will observe a red rash on the skin. You can apply an anti-fungal cream. Often it appears if you suffer with systemic yeast infection.

Yeast infections in the mouth

This is known as and thrush and it affects the mouth and the throat. It can happen due to antibiotics, lingering condition or take it from your partner. The leading indicators of female thrush are the same like for males. You'll experience dry mouth, with a sensation that something hold you in the throat or back of the mouth. Some people experience and pain during swallowing, but it is not necessary. Also you can notice white patches in your mouth and sometimes even red sores on your tongue, cheeks and throat.
