Facts About Mortality Rates In The US

The CDC or Center for Disease Control in U.S. has revealed a new report about the total life span of a man. According to the department, it is estimated that around 1.5 years has been added in the life of today's baby than that of 10 years ago.

According to the new report delivered by this department is that an average woman has a longer life expectance than a man which is now tremendously getting reduced. 2002 status shows that this gap is of 5.4 years which was 7.8 years in 1979.

The main top causes of death are now cured with the latest inventions in the field of medicine due to which the death rate decreased causing the life span of man to increase.

The death rates have been in constant fall from the last numerous years. According to this CDC report, the death rate of today is half than what it was sixty years ago. The death rate was 776 per 100,000 people which in 2006 were 760.

Various major diseases like cancer and heart disease together are the major factor of the deaths in United States. The death rates caused by these diseases have decreased; the heart diseases are lessened by 5 percent while the deaths by cancer are cured by 2 percent. The biggest fall is of deaths by HIV which is reduced to 10 percent in 10 years.

This report gives a positive hope to the people however of you compare this report of U.S. with some other countries you will get to know that U.S. people has less life span than the people of 30 countries.

Japan stands the top position with the highest life expectancy of 83 years of an average person. This report is of 2007 by World Health Organization.

Having a healthy good life is a must for all. Since America is a top most country which spends numerous money on health and still they don't even land in top 20's. What they need to focus is to make good eating habits with a quality diet to improve the life span of U.S. people.
